Even now (i'm 38 years old), this is a fantasy world where I like to immerse myself. It's really great to see that you continue to take part in the craze that you have created.Urizenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12386898305849885424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283315887973123007.post-68448773368955490002014-03-04T06:28:35.873-08:002014-03-04T06:28:35.873-08:00Hi Orlygg !

Obviously there are some differences in the mechanics - the most significant being the dice pool system - but most people seem put off by the cards and other components and they don't bother me at all. They are mainly aids to record keeping, and from the time I've spent running combats and so on by myself to get a feel for the system, they work very well. Certainly they cut down on a large amount of scribbling and crossing out on character sheets and bits of scrap paper. To me, the feel of the game is still very Warhammer.<br />The designer, Jay Little, talks about WFRP3 briefly in this video. If you ever do a part 2 (Or if Mr. Davis wants to answer here in the comments), I'd be quite interested to know how one of the original WFRP designers feels about what FFG has done with version 3. Version 2, which I believe Mr. Davis also worked on with Green Ronin, was much in the same vein as Version 1, but Version 3 is such a completely different game that I'd like to hear his take on someone else's attempt.Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18093356872477703550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283315887973123007.post-10526026963097950862013-06-11T15:02:37.479-07:002013-06-11T15:02:37.479-07:00Another great article.
