It was one of those ideas that were prematurely trumpeted when WFRP was new (along with The Horned Rat and Realms of Sorcery) but never came about because of WFRP's declining importance to the company.

If memory serves, BftBG was planned to come out immediately after Realm of Chaos, and to be a short campaign which would see players as minions of Chaos, rather than fighting against Chaos. The idea was to give players a taste of the other side of things, and also to promote RoC. I'm pretty sure it never got beyond that one-line concept.Graeme Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14460200772136298249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283315887973123007.post-71572650123596736032014-11-18T07:06:09.173-08:002014-11-18T07:06:09.173-08:00I'm pretty sure that this "pull out"...I'm pretty sure that this "pull out" really was just that. I think it was done as a separate 8-page booklet as a promotional giveaway for retailers, and then the pages were just dropped into White Dwarf as well. It makes sense from a costing point of view, because you get two bites of the marketing cherry for one set-up cost. Then again, all this is a long time ago...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10457475306833719292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283315887973123007.post-60544461299244072102014-11-14T23:35:06.393-08:002014-11-14T23:35:06.393-08:00BEST RPG EVER!

I often pull my hardback down from the shelf to read, regardless of which game I am running (AFF2e at the moment), probably in the same way that Americans read Gygax's AD&D1e DMG for inspiration.Andy Bartletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06683770320671028815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283315887973123007.post-796718256452319292014-11-13T22:38:07.818-08:002014-11-13T22:38:07.818-08:00your got a lot of work ahead of you covering all t...your got a lot of work ahead of you covering all the WFRP stuff - no doubt it will make for interesting reading.
