A love of fantasy, art, history and of course miniatures (and dodgy rock music) was fostered in me by you guys that still endures today.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17821272978961150946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283315887973123007.post-13068393454030190802013-08-17T06:39:15.084-07:002013-08-17T06:39:15.084-07:00Great interview and pics. I remember that er...Great interview and article.

I remember that era at the start of Brighton Games Workshop very well when Guy was working there, and I was a regular gamer there. It was, and still is, my local GW and I recall clearly the chaotic nature of those early gaming nights, as well as fielding Slann (40K and Fantasy) there too.

In the Brighton GW store the miniatures were in a cylindrical rotating display cabinet, which I am sure used to stick and judder as it went round! They were great to see, and I spent many hours of summer holidays painting, gaming, or hanging around there. I manged to get an Imperial Guard miniature in there at the time, and recall Guy giving me a demonstration on how to paint.

Thank you for posting and reminding me of the time :)

Goblin Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14931436821182962785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3283315887973123007.post-43297990629411539632013-08-13T03:31:58.246-07:002013-08-13T03:31:58.246-07:00Amazing read as alwaysAmazing read as alwaysChico Dankshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16209424634551876747noreply@blogger.com
